How To Get An Unfair Advantage In Your Search Engine Advertising...
Pay Per Click Search Engines like Overture and FindWhat are great: As the name implies, you only pay per visitor who actually clicks-thru to your web site.
You pay money. You get traffic.
At least that's the theory.
Of course, if you're even slightly familiar with pay-per-click Search Engines, you already know the problem: To actually get a decent amount of hits, you've got to come near the top of the results - which means you have to bid high (and pay more for each click-thru) for your particular keywords.
That can get expensive fast. Some popular keywords can have bids of $1, $2, $3, $4 or more... And that's a cost you have to pay, just to get a visitor, before even attempting to make a sale.
Wouldn't You Like To Have No Competitors...
What if you could bid for keyword phrases, describing your site, which nobody else was bidding on?
That would be incredible wouldn't it?
You'd be #1 in the rankings, be able to virtually monopolize the traffic for those searches, and only have to pay the minimum amount per click-thru.
I know what you're thinking: "That's impossible, every search engine advertiser get access to a Search Term Suggestion screen which displays the keywords on my (and every other) site's subject."
