The Tenth Annual London Rail Conference

The Government’s rail White Paper of last July set out the short-term strategy for railways in London and the South East between 2009 and 2014. It established some principles for the longer term, and gave the final go-ahead for the Thameslink project and Crossrail, both of which Network Rail’s latest business plan has provided more detail.

Many franchises have also been re-let, and one under Transport for London. So, there is more commitment to developing passenger services in the region over the next few years. This conference will address crucial questions across a range of speakers, and enable delegates to identify achievements, barriers and opportunities.
