Friends of the Nickey Line are a local support group for the old railway line between Hemel Hempstead and Harpenden. We obtained Big Lottery funding for a new website and approached a selection of web design companies for a quote. The cheapest we received for our specification was £6000 – way above our funds. Local Hertfordshire web design and marketing company Net Commerce Solutions stepped in with a very much lower figure, one within our budget. They gave us lots of help to create the site content and optimise it for search engines. They developed the site quickly and we are delighted with it. It is attractive (see http://www.nickeyline.org ) and we have received lots of compliments on it. The admin system is powerful and easy to use. Overall we could not recommend them more highly.
