About the Competition
What is the topseos annual SEO & PPC competition?
Choices are good, but too many choices are confusing. Consider the confusion that your customers and potential customers go through in selecting a SEO or a PPC specialist. They are told unbelievable stories and false promises are made. There is no distinction between the leader and the laggard with everyone screaming from the same cluttered platform. Clients have been robbed of their confidence, they have bled several times. The question that plagues their mind is “How do I find a competent, trustworthy, and a genuine firm?"
Companies who truly excel do not get the significant distinction and the overdue credit they ultimately deserve. They get mixed, classified, and lost within the bogus companies with no credibility to their claims.
The purpose of the competition is to unravel and promote the best SEO & PPC firms worldwide. The competition will be a platform to increase visibility and promote vendors that have satisfied customers,a proven track record of performance, a strong depth of knowledge in the area of expertise, and discrete competitive advantages.

 How do I enter the competition?

Is there a fee to join the competition?
The entry fee for the competitions is 5000.00 USD per category. At this point we are only running the competition for two categories (SEO & PPC). There is an additional surcharge of 10% for all applications submitted after December 31, 2007.
Will the information that I provide on behalf of my company be kept confidential?
Yes. Our terms & conditions clearly indicate that we agree (i) to keep the Confidential Information confidential, (ii) to utilize the Confidential Information solely for the purpose of conducting the SEO & PPC competition between the parties, and (iii) not to disclose any Confidential Information to any persons other than our officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, advisors and judges (collectively “Representatives”) who are directly working on or who are consulted in connection with this matter.

Eligibility
What are the requirements to enter the competition?
To enter the competition, entrant must be a SEO and or PPC service provider. The entrant should be willing to: (1) disclose contact information of a minimum of three clients, (2) participate and be evaluated per the evaluation criteria.
Do I have to be a member of topseos.com to enter the competition?
It is not necessary to be a member of topseos.com to qualify for the competition.
Is the competition for U.S based firms only?
We welcome entrants from all countries.
What are the terms and conditions that apply to the competition?

Entry Submission
Can I enter for both SEO & PPC categories?
Firms may enter either or both competitions.
What other categories are you running this competition for?
At this point we are only running the competition for two categories (SEO & PPC).
Can I switch from the SEO Competition to the PPC Competition or vice versa midway through the competition?
Entrants are required to maintain their initial selection. Entrants may sign up for the desired competition by submitting a new application.
What is the deadline to qualify for the competition?
The deadline for submitting applications is Dec 31st 2007. There is an extended deadline of Mar 31st 2008 for late submissions. All late entries will accrue a 10% surcharge.
Judging and Competition Results
How long is the competition, and when will I become aware of the results?
The competition will be a year long process from Dec of 2007 until Dec of 2008. The winners will be announced by end of Jan 2009.
Who is going to determine the winners?
Judges will be an independent panel consisting of members of e-ventures LLC (staff members of topseos.com and Visibility Magazine). Interested staff members of search marketing associations may apply to be a judge. However, a confidentiality agreement must be signed before any entrants are evaluated by external judges.
How are the firms evaluated through out the year (annual schedule)?
The evaluation process includes of the judges reviewing the entrants in five categories: customer satisfaction, depth of knowledge, reporting methods, internal principles, and competitive advantages. For further details, view our evaluation criteria.
