Founded in 1999 by the current directors, Backbone IT Group is a market leading provider of search optimisation and web design solutions.

Our continuing work with a diverse range of corporate clients has seen us grow rapidly, and we now have over 100 full time employees in Europe and Asia.

From our initial specialism of Search Engine Optimisation, we have expanded our services to include Content Management (rewritable) websites, Internet Marketing, and Web Design. We are also able to offer software development for large or small projects, with bespoke web-based applications and programming using the latest technologies.

In 2004 we achieved official UK Government Department for Education and Skills accreditation for our work with Extranets in schools. Additionally, our procedures have been certified for quality and consistency under the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

February 2004 saw the exciting development of our overseas office in Nanjing, China. Our legal status in China, combined with Chinese and English speaking staff, is developing Backbone IT Group into an increasingly important gateway both into and out of the burgeoning Chinese economy for our corporate clients.
